Today is Women’s Day- a good day to celebrate this incredible young woman.

I don’t believe in qualifying bravery, nor that there are better or worse days to celebrate someone being brave for fear of them being forgotten on the following day, so I will simply say this:

Malala Yousafzai is a hero and an inspiration to myself and literally millions of other people around the globe. Despite - or perhaps because of - the risks, she has made a difference in untold lives by her actions, her choices, and her words. Malala Yousafzai deserves every ounce of respect she’s earned, because despite her only being fifteen years old, the world is better for her efforts.
